At the heart of Hyderabad, the NGO - Youngsters of Hyderabad Youth Welfare Association (YOHYWA) stands as a beacon of hope and transformation. Founded on 5th December 2023, our nonprofit organization is dedicated to empowering youth and women, enabling them to lead lives of financial independence, skillfulness, and fulfillment. we are aiming to cultivate a self-reliant, socially aware society, free from the shackles of debt and addiction.

 

In a world where many organizations rely heavily on corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds or government grants, YOHYWA charts its own course. We pride ourselves on pioneering self-sufficient and sustainable methodologies, operating without dependence on external funding. Our innovative, win-win financial strategies ensure that our initiatives are impactful and genuine, creating real change in communities—not just on paper or websites, but in the hearts and lives of individuals.
 

Our Flagship Project: Mission YUVASHAKTI

Among our diverse projects, Mission YUVASHAKTI shines the brightest. This initiative is a heartfelt endeavor to reach the young minds in intermediate and degree colleges, guiding them through the tumultuous challenges of substance addiction, peer pressure, and life's myriad obstacles. Through interactive, activity-based sessions held weekly in collaboration with college principals (formalized through Memorandums of Understanding), we instill life skills that empower students to make informed, positive choices.

 

Sub-Programs Under Mission YUVASHAKTI

  • Scholarship for Degree Students:

We believe in nurturing potential. Our scholarship program offers financial assistance to degree students who exhibit exceptional academic promise and a deep commitment to YOHYWA's mission. Eligibility criteria include a minimum GPA of 65% and active engagement in community service aligned with our goals. Benefits encompass coverage of tuition fees up to ₹12,000 per annum, a monthly stipend of ₹500, and opportunities to participate in YOHYWA’s projects.

 

  • One Skill at a Time (Skill India Training Course):

Education is the cornerstone of empowerment. We offer parallel training courses that align with students' passions, ranging from spoken English to advanced AI-related skills. Whether it's tailoring, beautician courses, mehndi designing, digital marketing, computer MS Office tools, Tally, website development, or cloud computing, we provide the platform for youth to acquire practical skills that pave the way for a brighter future.

  • Youngsters Eminence Test (YET): 

The "Youngsters Eminence Test (YET)" is a national-level competitive exam launched by the Youngsters of Hyderabad Youth Welfare Association (YOHYWA), dedicated to inspiring India’s young minds and empowering them to build a brighter future for themselves and our nation. Designed specifically for intermediate and degree students, YET aims to identify, support, and celebrate the next generation of leaders and innovators who aspire to make India self-sufficient and globally recognized.

Through YET, we not only measure academic potential but also instill values of resilience, dedication, and patriotism. Participants in this unique exam receive a special badge of “India ki Shaan”, a mark of honor recognizing their commitment to India’s progress. All participants are awarded certificates, and top performers receive the distinguished “Eminent Youngster of India” certificate along with scholarships for higher education, job placement assistance, personalized career guidance, and professional counseling support.

YET is more than a test; it is a call to action for young Indians to rise, break generational barriers, and champion a self-reliant India. It is our mission to provide students with the tools, support, and inspiration they need to thrive — because we believe every young mind has the potential to leave an indelible mark on India’s future.

  • Youngsters Astro Academy (YAA)

Through our Youngsters Astro Academy (YAA) in collaboration with Supernova Research and Life Saving Services Pvt Ltd (SNRLSS), we introduce young minds to the wonders of space science and astronomy to support ISRO. By organizing workshops, night sky observation events, and mentorship from experts, this initiative nurtures curiosity and knowledge in STEM fields, inspiring future scientists and innovators.

 

Self-Help Groups (SHG-50K): A New Paradigm

Our SHG-50K initiative redefines the traditional concept of self-help groups. Designed to liberate individuals from high-interest debts, we form groups of 20 members who contribute a monthly EMI of ₹2,500 over 20 months. Each month, one member receives a payout through a dip method. Upon receiving the payout, members contribute an additional ₹100 from the following month. This structured approach not only provides immediate financial relief but also fosters discipline and collective growth. Members who demonstrate commitment and integrity over the 20 months are introduced to larger financial resources, empowering them to initiate small businesses without resorting to external loans. This program is meticulously crafted to rescue youth from the clutches of high-interest debts, offering a lifeline to those planning to start small enterprises.
 

Debtless Legacy Campaign

This campaign offers support to individuals affected by financial difficulties, particularly those burdened by debt due to business ventures or startup investments. Through intensive financial literacy workshops and life skills training, the Debtless Legacy Campaign helps beneficiaries regain financial stability and move toward a debt-free life. And we also streamline the innovative solutions and right financials resources creation to make free Indian-Youth from the debt traps.

 

SHE-CAN Campaign

Dedicated to empowering women, SHE-CAN provides a platform for skill-building, economic independence, and personal growth. Through workshops and mentorship, we support women in enhancing their professional and entrepreneurial skills, boosting their confidence, and creating pathways to a self-sufficient future. We ensuring incubation support to MSME business startups and Women Startups by providing them skills training, financial guidance, necessary resources availability.  

 

Surakshit Nari Campaign

Focused on women’s safety, the Surakshit Nari Campaign provides training and resources for women to defend themselves and respond confidently to challenging situations. This campaign includes workshops on self-defense techniques, safety awareness, and crisis management, ensuring that women feel empowered and secure in their daily lives.

 

Financial Discipline Challenge (FDC)
The Financial Discipline Challenge is a transformative journey that teaches individuals the importance of financial accountability. Through daily contributions of just Rs. 10, participants learn the art of financial discipline and develop habits that will lead them to a financially empowered future. This initiative is not about the amount contributed but about developing a mindset of financial responsibility that will last a lifetime.
